Fargo Force Announce 2010-2011 Schedule Posted on 7/30/2010
FARGO, ND - The Fargo Force announced today their 60-game regular season 2010-11 schedule. The regular season is set to open on the road in Chicago against the Steel on Friday, October 1, 2010 with the home opener at the Urban Plains Center being two weeks later also against the Steel on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 7:35 PM.
The Fargo Force will be on the road for the first four games of the season including a re-match of last year's Clark Cup Finals against the Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday, October 2 before traveling to Cedar Rapids and Sioux City the following weekend.
This season the Dubuque Fighting Saints and Muskegon Lumberjacks will join the United States Hockey League as expansion teams bringing the league to a total of 15 teams split into two conferences.
Western Conference: Des Moines Dubuque Fargo Lincoln Omaha Sioux City Sioux Falls Tri-City
Eastern Conference: Cedar Rapids Chicago Green Bay Indiana Muskegon Team USA Waterloo
Within the Western Conference, the Fargo Force will face Lincoln, Omaha, Sioux City, Sioux Falls and Tri-City eight times throughout the season while only facing Des Moines and Dubuque twice.
All 30 Fargo Force home games will be played at the Urban Plains Center. The puck will drop at 7:35 PM on Friday nights and 7:05 PM all other nights.
