Sommer Lockhart - Account Executive
Sommer Lockhart works part-time for the Urban Plains Center and Metro Sports Foundation as a sales executive. She is also the director of marketing for the Fargo Force, the Urban Plains Center's primary tenant. Her primary duties for the Urban Plains Center is selling sponsorship packages for the building and working with her clients to select the best advertising inventory to meet their marketing objectives. Lockhart joined the Urban Plains Center team in August of 2007.
Before coming to the Urban Plains Center, Lockhart worked for the Ralph Engelstad Arena as a marketing manager from 2003 to2007 and the United State Hockey League's Waterloo Black Hawks in Iowa between 2000 and 2003. While at the Ralph, she managed and coordinated the marketing efforts for all REA events. For the Black Hawks in Waterloo, she oversaw all game operations, ticket operations and promotions.
A native of Grandin, N.D., Lockhart attended Concordia College in Moorhead and graduated with a degree in communications.
Sommer now lives in south Moorhead with her husband Jeff and beautiful baby girl Isabelle. When she is not spending time with family and friends, Lockhart enjoys reading, water skiing and tending to her garden at home.
