Darlene Miller - Director of Finance and Human Resources
Darlene Miller works as the director of finance and human resources for the Urban Plains Center and Metro Sports Foundation. She began her time at the UPC as the accountant for the arena's food and beverage company, Concessions Management LLC, in December of 2009 and transitioned over the Metro Sports Foundation the following May. Her primary responsibilities include managing the non-profit finances for the organization and overseeing all human resource issues for full-time and event-day staff.
Originally from Bismarck, N.D., she attended Bismarck State College where she earned her Associate's Degree in business management. From there, she went on to North Dakota State University to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business management. She also holds a Master's Degree from the University of Mary-Fargo in management with a human resources emphasis. She is also a board member of Fargo Moorhead Drum and Bugle Course Association (FMDBCA).
Darlene resides in West Fargo. She has four children, Joshua, Christopher, Amanda and Brittany. She is also the proud grandmother of Lydia and Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, bicycling, exercising, doing crafts and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She is a fan of the Chicago Bears and Fargo Force.
